What are Gay Rights?
Saying Gay Rights implies that Gays in Kenya are asking for special rights which is not the case. What Gays are asking for primarily is for non-discrimination in provision of services particularly health services. An example, 15.2% of all new HIV infections are among Men who have sex with Men, yet they are around 5% meaning HIV is hyper-epidemic among them. When was the last time you saw a prevention message aimed at them - at all? Of course this catches up with the rest of the society because in order to fit in, they must engage in opposite-sex relationships. I hate myself for saying this, but HIV will teach Kenyans equality
