CLARION under this programme will be aworking towards tackling the problem of political illiteracy in Kenya and develop the capacity of population groups to effectively engage in the design, application and revision of political processes.

The advocacy component of this programme is designed to respond to the problem of exclusivity in the constitutive side of Kenya's governance. It seeks to highlight the importance of active and popular citizen participation in determining who makes which rules, instead of them being limited to operating within rules made by an exclusive group.

Strategic Goal:

To contribute to the attainment of informed citizen participation in governance and management of public affairs from design of policies to implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
