CLARION aims to facilitate the promotion and protection of human rights. Possible areas of intervention in this thematic area include: undertaking research on property rights in relation to historical claims by communities on land, research and training on policing and human rights, institutionalising gender rights education and awareness in schools and communities as well as undertaking civic education.
