CLARION's current programme is titled Enhancing and Consolidating the Gains of Democratisation in Kenya. Since the December 2002 general elections that ushered in a new regime, there has been drafting and re-drafting of most Acts of Parliament, including the on-going Constitution making process.

These activities require monitoring and input from the public led by civil society organisations such as CLARION. It is in this light that CLARION decided in 2002 to focus on three areas: Constitutionalism, Human Rights and Governance. The section below introduces the three programmes and the projects that fall under each of them. 

It gives the strategic goal of the programme, ongoing projects [those that are currently being implemented], active projects [those that have been implemented in the past but are being fundraised for currently to continue implementation] and past projects [those that are no longer being implemented]
